Nestled on a gorgeous peninsula along Maryland’s beautiful Kent Narrows, the Kent Island Yacht Club provides members a relaxing, family-friendly experience.

Applications are now being accepted.

Membership Levels:
Full: For those over age 35. $600 annually, plus a one-time $1000 Initiation Fee.
Applicant and Spouse or Significant other and any children under 21

Young Adult: Age 21-35 $420 annually, plus a one-time $250 Initiation Fee.
Applicant and Spouse or Significant other and any children under 21
We do not offer Pool only Memberships.

From Kent Island Yacht Club you have the entire Chesapeake Bay at your call.

KIYC is the perfect place to lay back and relax at an Eastern Shore pace while enjoying its serene setting and all the amenities. Close by, visit the cross-island trail, heritage center, environmental center, and more. KIYC has very attractive slip rates (membership required) and when you want to visit other areas the list of reciprocal Yacht clubs is very impressive.

Owning a boat is not a requirement to make KIYC your home port.

The Commodores Lounge is open year-round, Wednesday through Sunday. The Lounge offers expansive windows with a million-dollar view while making friends, eating great food, and partaking in beverages.

Enjoy spectacular views of Prospect Bay while you are in our heated Saltwater Pool (open from May till September).

KIYC is proud to offer onsite dining along with libations from our Commodores Lounge bar brought to you at the pool or Tiki Bar. Have fun at the Tiki Bar, Pool Bar or sit on the patio overlooking the lawn.

Our Members enjoy guest DJs, and Live Music with popular bands such as Rosewood, Justin Singleton, Chris Sacks Duo, Bud Falls, and more. KIYC hosts public events such as the Chesapeake Bay Motoring Festival.

We have many member events throughout the year including a Sunfish Sailing Club, KIYC Youth Events, Bingo, Turkey Shoot, or Horseshoes.

Every week there is something to enjoy at Kent Island Yacht Club.
